Wayfair
This project consisted of a full gut renovation of a 164,000-SF building alongside a 110,000-SF exterior extension, revitalizing it into a bustling store for retail giant, Wayfair. Construction included new facades, roofs, vertical transportation, utilities, and interior, while the expansion introduced a plaza, parking area, landscaping, and storm detention center. The brand-new store hosts The Porch at Wayfair – a full-service café providing both indoor and outdoor seating – as well as interactive experiences like the “Dream Center” and a Design Studio. Extensive structural enhancements enabled the creation of a striking three-story glass atrium, featuring a millwork-adorned wall and a 20’ x 20’ display screen. Outside, the distinctive façade boasts terracotta rainscreen panels in the brand’s signature purple, ACM-clad canopies, and a captivating 70’ x 40’ backlit metal panel feature wall at the main entrance, accentuating Wayfair’s unique aesthetic.
