Manage and coordinate commercial construction projects from the conceptual development stage through final construction, including analyzing architects’ drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine engineering difficulties, building methodologies and cost estimation, under the close supervision of a director or vice-president. Coordinate and confer with owners, engineers, architects, and subcontractors. Assist in the development of schematic design and plan. Conduct analysis and prepare comprehensive study of site conditions, including structural integrity and conditions of internal fittings. Undertake relevant feasibility studies, value engineering and life-cycle costing. Perform quantity surveys to determine the amount of labor and materials required for projects. Prepare cost estimations, budgets, bids, and contracts. Prepare logistics and sequencing planning. Obtain all necessary permits and ensure compliance with all building, health and safety codes and regulations. Perform construction schedule development and coordinate all construction phases, including the hiring and overseeing of subcontractors, for a senior project manager’s review. Track spending, monitor budget and prepare periodic cost tracking reports. Perform snagging and de-snagging. Deliver whiteboard meetings.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Mathematics;
12 months of experience as Assistant Project Manager or Junior Project Manager;
12 months of experience analyzing and measuring blueprints and drawings using AutoCAD, and preparing cost estimations, budgets and periodic reports;
12 months of experience monitoring budgets and adjusting project plans to account for changes in targets, staffing, resources, and risks; and
12 months of experience snagging and de-snagging using Procore, and managing commercial construction projects using Procore, MS Project, and Timberline/Sage.

Salary range: $90,000 -$105,000 per annum.
