Located on the site of a former landfill within the Secaucus IBX campus NY5 serves the world’s largest financial, media, and electronic trading companies. The LEED Certified Silver, 2-story building required 8.3 million pounds of structural steel erected in only 8 weeks. It is built on pile supported structural slab with additional preparedness to withstand earthquakes and enhanced for flood resiliency. Standby power is provided by 14 x 2,500 kW diesel generators in N+1 configuration.
