Project Manager, New York, NY
Manage and coordinate commercial construction projects from the conceptual development stage through final construction, including analyzing architects’ drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine engineering difficulties and building methodologies, under the close supervision of a director or vice-president. Under the guidance of a director or vice-president, coordinate and confer with owners, engineers, architects, and subcontractors, and administer and manage site establishment, preparation and organization. With the guidance of a vice-president, conduct analysis and prepare comprehensive study of building and site conditions, including dilapidation surveys and examination of building structural integrity, acoustic properties, and conditions of internal fittings. Prepare cost estimation, budgets, bids, and contracts. Prepare, develop and review reports, if necessary, for a senior project manager’s or vice-president’s review and approval. Prepare logistics and sequencing planning. Perform construction schedule development and coordinate all construction phases, including the hiring and overseeing of subcontractors, for a senior project manger’s review. Prepare periodic cost tracking reports. Assist in the development of schematic design and plan. Obtain all necessary permits and ensure compliance of all building, health and safety codes and regulations. Perform snagging and de-snagging. Deliver whiteboard meetings.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying;
2 years of experience as Civil Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager;
2 years of experience analyzing and measuring blueprints and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, and preparing periodic reports;
2 years of experience preparing cost estimations and budgets;
2 years of experience snagging and de-snagging using Fieldview, and managing construction project schedules using Procore, MS Project, Excel, Word, and Timberline;
12 months of experience tracking output rates for various trades, and delivering whiteboard meetings, toolbox talks, project inductions and environmental briefings.

Salary range: $110,000 -$155,000 per annum.
